Dean's List

Hello everyone!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!! Well, I found out what my grades were for my classes this semester. I have two A's and a B. I got the B in Biology. I was so excited to find out that I made the Dean's List. Well, I have been enjoying this week off from school, being able to spend time with my honey. I was able to actually cook this week. Its kinda hard to cook when I come home around 9ish and I am so tired from the day. Well, I have already registered for classes for the winter semester. It looks like I will be taking Algebra, Speech, and New Testament History. I start classes on Monday the 13th but the following week I will be off due to Thanksgiving. Keep me in prayer. I am shooting for all A's this semester. Nathan and I will celebrate our anniversary this weekend. I just wish this cold would go away before the weekend. Well, I don't have much to say so I guess I will get back to work.

Been A Busy Bee

Hey everyone!! Sorry that it has been so long since the last time I updated. I have been extremely busy with work and school. Well, things are going pretty well. I have one for final to take for this semester and then I get a week off and then I start another semester. I have already registered for my classes already. I will be taking New Testament History, Intermediate Algebra, and Speech. I have been really enjoying go back to school. I just wish I didn't have to go three nights a week. I miss spending my extra time with Nathan and our families. Nathan and I are doing great. We are fixing to celebrate our One Year Anniversary as a married couple. Nathan is planning to take me to Amarillo to go eat at my favorite place Crackle barrel. We probably stop by some of his relatives to see how they are doing and check on all the babies. Its been a great year, we tend to have our little arguments (caused by me of course) but we always get through them. He has been really supportive with me going back to school and that is awesome. I'm trying to convince him to go back to school and get some kind of degree. God has opened many doors for me to be able to go to school. I am so glad because I was tired of just sitting and doing nothing with a career that I wouldn't be able to move up in without a degree. I have been struggling with some things at the church. I have seen some of our closest friends leave and it has been a little tough. I just miss having them there to talk to after services. But I still try to keep in touch so that there is always a connection. I have been working hard with the Kids Ministry. Its been alot of fun getting to know some of these kids. Well, what else can I talk about???? Well, work is going okay I guess. Just really busy. My coworker is fixing to take a leave of absence for 14 weeks in January. So, I have a little more than two months to nail her job done. I'm just overwhelmed at the moment because I'm not just going to be doing her job but also my job and another project. So basically I will be working a job that three people are actually suppose to do. I just pray that God gives me strength. I was in the Single's room yesterday during the Harvest Festival and was looking at some old pictures that were in there. I can't believe how much things changed in four years. I miss the old times, but excited for the future. Well, I really can't think of anything else to write. So, have a wonderful day.

Going Good

Hello everyone!! Sorry that its been awhile since my last entry. I won't be updating as much now that I have started school. I went to my first college class on monday. I feel very confidence about my classes for this semester. I had Biology on Monday, my professor is new to the university so we actually got out extremly early. Which I am not complaining about. Yesterday, I had Old Testament History, I actually have to have a report done by September 5. I have my english class tomorrow, I am really nervous about that class because I am not very good at writing papers. But its all going to be okay because God is on my side. Well, Jonathan came into town last Thursday morning. Its so good to see him. I really didn't do much this weekend. We had the Dare to Dream rally on Saturday. Our volleyball team lost in the first round but we still had a lot of fun. Sunday, we went to Amarillo so that Grandma Martinez could see Jon but also to get mom's car fixed. Well, I really can't think of very much to say so I better get going.

Hello everyone!! Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Also, I want to give a hugh shout out to Ida May and Randy. CONGRATS you guys on your wedding. I am so happy for you two. You guys make a very cute couple and Ida May I loved the song you sung. It was beautiful. Well, as you can see Nathan and I went to a wedding this weekend. Well, here is how are weekend went. Friday, I got out early and ran some errands with my mom. Then that night, we went to the wedding rehearsal and then to the rehearsal dinner with the couple. Saturday, we went to the wedding at two but it didn't begin until about 2:30p. It was very beautiful. They almost may me cry when they gave Raschell (sorry if I spelt it wrong) a ring also. It really made me tear up. Sunday, I just hung out at my parent's house since Nathan had to work that night. Found out that some of my parent's neighbors are responsible for stealing copper off of my father's and brother's work trucks. I don't understand how someone can steal. It makes me kinda upset. But my parents told me not to do anything about it even though we know who is doind it. They don't want to cause trouble but also they don't want the people who are stealing to do something extremly dangerous. Yesterday, Nathan and I just sat at home and relax. We made some tiny pizzas using biscuits. The pizzas came out really good. Today, I don't know what we actually have plan for tonight. I wonder if Jonathan is here yet or if he is coming later on tonight. I guess I will find out when I get home. This is my last week to completely relax because I start college next monday. I will be going to school three nights a week and have the weekend to do my homework. I am extremly excited. Well, I have been reading my brother-in-laws xanga blog. I better just leave it at that because I don't want to get myself all work up over things that are happening to him in Louisiana. So, I just going to talk about what I have going this week. Well, I will be off on Thursday and Friday from work. I thought I would take a couple of days off before school starts to just hang out and relax. Friday evening, Nathan and I have a wedding reception to go to. It is for one of his co-workers. Saturday, we have a singles event at the pool called "Dare to Dream". We are going to help serve food and play some volleyball. Well, I better get back to work. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
